Nothing on the Site creates an advisory, agency or fiduciary relationship. Sentinel represents an owner only under a signed engagement letter with Wolfson Equity. Until then, information you send is handled under our Privacy Policy, but we owe you no duties beyond it.
We work to keep multiples, buyer descriptions and market commentary current, but markets move and we make no warranty that any page is complete or current. Statistics describing our record are as described on the Team page; documentation is available to serious counterparties under NDA.
You are responsible for keeping your Sentinel Desk sign-in access confidential and for the accuracy of what you enter. We may suspend an account used to misrepresent ownership of a business, to harvest buyer information, or in breach of these terms.
Documents in Sentinel Desk are released only under NDA and with your written go-ahead. Buyers who access material through Sentinel agree to the NDA governing it; breach is enforceable by you and by us.
Site content, the Exit Profile methodology, Buyer Simulation and Vera are ours. You may use outputs about your own business for your own purposes; you may not scrape, reproduce or resell the Site or its outputs.
Sentinel provides M&A advisory to private company owners. Sentinel is not a licensed securities broker-dealer and does not offer or sell securities. Where a transaction requires licensed professionals — legal, tax, securities, real estate — we will tell you and connect you with them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sentinel's liability arising from use of the Site or free tools is limited to $100. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Obligations under a signed engagement letter are governed by that letter, not this section.
Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws applicable there; courts of Toronto, Ontario. If you engage us under an engagement letter, that letter's law clause governs the engagement.
